Does anyone use Windows SkyDrive from Windows Live? If so, is it secure? If you are the only one allowed to view your space? Also, could you actually back up your documents by using this?

I think it looks quite safe compare to other free storage services and the connection seems to be encrypted although not sure if it is 128 bits. It also gives option if you need to share a folder or just keep it for yourself. There is 5gb space limit on the skydrive. Not sure what is the limit for inidividual file upload.

the limit for indivitial files is 50mb
i use it to upload files for different purposes.
sometimes files for friends and set it up so only one person can access it. its done by windows live id i think. so the user wouldhave to login via windows live id to access the folder.
you can make public folders, anyone can view them but cannot edit or delete the files.
