Windows Security Center alert

    I’ve been using ESSbeta 1a for 1 month, and sometimes the Windows Security Center alerts me that the AV is disabled, even if the main window of ESS shows that the AV is up and running.
    Does anybody else have the same problem??

    I have already experienced this problem... But really infrequently..:cool:

    Hi,

    Various people reported this kind of bug from the WSC with various AV/FW products (ESS, KIS, etc.), so I guess it's just the WSC not being that reliable (at least on XP, I don't know for the one on vista), I just de-activated its service because it's not that useful anyway IMO.
