tony, all that i can tell you is that i have not noticed any problems.. i am using the standard default ruleset along with some "always allow" rules for some applications, with the regular regdefend 2.001..

    TonyJL,
There isn't really any more information but if you are creating wide ranging rulesets it is something to be aware of. Anyone using the standard rulesets or ones that have been created and made it into the "Tested Ghost Groups" thread shouldn't encounter any issues like this.

The way you can tell you are encountering the problem when you are testing (after adding each key) is that you don't get your "ask user" prompt and see a block in the logs. Its not really a problem when you are aware that it can happen

    Thanks gottadoit.

Yeah i have noticed that 'ask user' thing. Is that all it is? i thought there was a bit more to it than that.

Could see that as an extra security level :D

    Anyway thanks again for replying.
