Really? I was looking at this and thinking "congratulations but, big woop". I personally think it's all about getting the popular, important apps onboard. Something which apparently Microsoft plans to have finished doing "by the first half of 2012", or something along those lines. I guess I'm lucky that my Lumia 800 has everything I deem necessary.

That is good but many more need to feel like that. The more apps there are, the more choice, more tastes catered for etc etc. Of course we can say quality over quantity and indeed it is.

Would the Windows phone OS be easier to use or more intuitive somehow for a veteran Windows user than an android phone or iPhone?

fwiw, I have an Android based tablet, which I can access directly from Windows using Samsung Kies or Droid Explorer, but ironically I have not found any way to access it from my Linux Mint OS. As for iOS, I'm not a fan.

You should try find a live one in store and play around with it. But in my opinion, it's easy to use no matter what your background, I think that's half the point of the design.

Agreed, it is a breeze to use...very intuitive and effective. Something that I think has been proved by the apparently success of the "Smoked by Windows Phone" campaign...if the figures are to be believed.

    Personally, I am a big fan. :D
