Internet Explorer 8 RC1 is now available

    please note
RC1 is short for "Release Candidate 1". Release candidate software is ready to be evaluated by users while it undergoes final testing. You may experience minor bugs or compatibility issues with websites while browsing.

Since Beta 2, you’ll note some of the changes inRC1 include the following:
    • ClickJacking protection. The SmartScreen Filter now includes the ability to help detect and prevent “ClickJacking” which is a malicious technique of tricking web users into revealing confidential information or taking control of their computer.
    • InPrivate™. Helps to protect user’s data and privacy from being retained “locally” on a PC. InPrivate Browsing and InPrivate Filtering can now be used independently.
    • Performance improvements. Reduces the time that users must wait when starting the browser, opening a “new tab”, or loading a page.
User interface and experience updates. There have been several user interface changes to help ensure a better user experience.

I'm really liking IE8 thus far. :thumb: Much faster and smoother than IE7.

Quick question: whenever I type a url address, it is NOT being stored in the address bar. When I click on the 'drop-down' arrow...my typed sites addresses do not show up.

Is this a settings issue and does anyone know how to correct this?

    Thanks.

I figured it out. Auto Complete was not enabled/checked. FYI for anyone else experiencing the same issue.
