Hello, I am planning on blocking outbound connections in Windows Firewall (Windows . Anyone has ideas what would be the proper rules Windows Defender and Smart Screen (System Wide and Browser). For Windows Defender update, I know it uses Windows Update, since I already have the proper rule for Windows Update, the only rule I want for Windows Defender is to ensure I have proper protection. (Rules for MAPS, etc.,) For Smart Screen, I've read that it is explorer.exe that is checking the file so I guess I'll add firewall rule to explorer.exe, not sure on this one though, and for the browser I guess if I allowed Internet Explorer, it is also allowed? (again not sure).
