Windows 8 Pro Upgrade and Kaspersky

    Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 stops Metro apps from connecting after upgrade install. If I uninstall and reinstall Kaspersky they work again until I recover from an image. Then they won't connect again.

    Does anyone have a workaround, or do I have to buy another security program?

    check your rules they are possibly blocking services required

    Honestly, if you have to be on Windows 8 at the very least wait it out until they've got all the kinks worked out.

    Hmm, that must have been what was wrong with mine. I reformatted because I never made the connection. They seemed to work at first. I don't want to turn this into a "this vs. that" but there are products that work better with Windows 8. ;)
