Samsung shows off Windows 8 hybrid laptop-tablet and Windows 8 all-in-one PC

Asus shows Windows 8 Zenbook Prime Ultrabook

ASRock claims to have first Windows 8 certified motherboard

Microsoft can put whatever good face on it but this is a huge hurdle that just went up for a successful ARM tablet launch. I wonder if this may have been a pushback from HP after learning that Microsoft was going to market their own tablets.

HP never said it would release ARM-based tablets. HP will focus on products based on Intel/AMD chips that come with Windows 8.

Personally, I won't be buying any ARM-based tablet in the foreseeable future. Surface Pro isn't ARM-based.
