Does PE run on Windows 2003 web edition? Also, is there a tool to better analyze/read the packets? Hi johncesta, I cannot get Port Explorer to run on Server 2003 here, there are issues for some users, best to try it first it may work fine for you. Sorry, I am not familiar with other utilities that may work but other users may have some ideas. HTH Pilli
2003 is not a really big issue right now. I purchased and installed PE on my 2000 web server it runs fine. That's where I need it anyway. Once cool thing I wish it would do is to let me click on the IP address of the port 80 line and have it tell me what site the connection is tied to. I use host headers so I can't simply look at the IP and tell. Also, is there a tool to better analyze/read the packets? PE is a great learning tool as well. I have showed a few folks around here while explaining ports and connections etc. Very interesting as well watching the countries of the sites connected to the web server. Thanks, John Cesta
