Hi all , I am a system admin at a small busines.I had business editions of NOD 32 running on a file servers and term servers running raid 1.
I started having random hangs and issues on accessing shares running from the server . It came to such a point that i had to uninstall nod 32 from the servers, this started happening after latest nod 32 updates. I combed thru event logs and was unable to find any information except lots and lots of errors from application hangs.

Pl test nod32 extensively on servers before releasing especially for the following servers .

    1. Terminal servers .
    2. File servers running DFS replication .

I know theres not much information to go by , but i can only conclude the issues are bcos of nod32 as since uninstalling them the servers have been running without a single complaint.

check what version of NOD32 you are using...
only 3.0.657 and 3.0.667 seem to be ok for windows 2003 file servers.
