I do. It's labeled as "Preview". I haven't had much opportunity to check it out. I opened it once to see if it worked but that's about it.

Nice. I was curious. I am tempted to see this new update that dropped today. I know I will not be rolling it out to anyone though lol.

I installed it as well. Funny enough, I am not seeing CoPilot. I am running Enterprise however so maybe that is why?

Maybe. I don't have my laptop running to check but make sure all of your Microsoft Store apps are up to date as well.

Yes, I already explained that security patches are highly overrated on consumer devices. And I really wouldn't want to be dealing with all kinds of silly problems that are often introduced by OS updates, like this one LOL. :argh:

Exactly! That's what people fail to understand, patches don't protect against zero days, it's security tools that will. And yes, most of the time, hackers will try to exploit known holes, but security tools should be able to to stop both known and zero day holes.

Yes exactly, most of this issues are none-issues. Do you really think it's that easy to exploit all of them to deliver malware on a system? Perhaps it was on Windows XP, but not anymore, especially if your system is protected by the right security tools. Keep in mind, I'm talking about home user PC's. Securing corporate networks is a different ball game.

Agree. Moreover, I used Seven till to last August, obvioulsy no more patched, but with a multi layered defense and I hadn't problems.

Yes exactly, I think it's a lack of technical knowledge, that leads people to believe that unpatched machines will magically become infected. I still use Win 8.1 which doesn't receive any patches anymore, but it's no problem. I didn't patch Win XP for 10 years, again no problems.

But I'm not saying that it doesn't make sense to patch apps and OS, because it does make sense, but it's not a must to stay safe, that's all I'm saying. Security tools are way more important, since they are designed to protect against known and unknown holes. So patching the security tools themselves does have priority. For example, once in a while Win Defender needs to be patched because of serious design errors.

This is the reason for I regret the lack of real HIPSs as once we had.

Windows 11 system requirements (TPM/ CPU) can be bypassed via this single command

I'll be testing this out later. If it's that easy I may upgrade a machine I had previously planned not to.

seriously - use rufus and have fun.
my first steps were using a reg-hack on booting, but this is not convenient.
MS is trialing a lot but currently nothing worked. TBC
