Yes, most of the time it's easy to fix by uninstalling these security patches, but this isn't always the case. I remember when I tried to upgrade from Win XP SP2 to SP3, what a complete disaster. I vowed to never do something stupid like this again, it really isn't worth it LOL.

Yes @Rasheed187 MS Windows department certainly has had a reliable history of gumming up things from updates.

As far back as Windows XP Explorer.exe would sometimes Spurt, Sputter, and Choke overlaying update files that on occasion would not match up correctly with their own O/S layout.

I guess I have been lucky.
Never had a problem with updates really, I even do the preview ones each month.

did you notice the OS leveraging E-cores for task scheduler, are people wihtout E-cores at a disadvatnage, say many cores and threads but no hybrid builds?
the system seems designed for hybrid, guess if update hardware due to that, e.g. 10900k vs 12700k, 12700k will work better in daily tasks

Wow, thank you for this info. I will have to check this out sooner rather than later. I have the same nvm-e for both Windows and always got a sense of a noticeably slower system on 11--esp on shutdown. The article says it's not fixed for everyone but seems better than before. Will def. check it out. :) I'm on beta Insiders so will have to check whether that specific update has already installed, and if so, what are the effects?
