First up. the last lines of the reply paragraph.
Appears you take a safe precaution by using stick for Acronis. Or any other imaging programs. I have done that before myself and only relied on USB plug-in for those tasks so i understand it.

I will be blunt and honest here on my early debacle. When trying to install over top of Windows 10 then got that ERROR above mentioned in this topic title. it left me furious and frustrated. MS had been needling me to Upgrade for months, then when i tried it failed.

Luckily though, this time, the mixing new Windows 11 over my Windows 10 programs already seated and working properly turned out completely thorough and without a hitch. I have no idea why it borked the first few tries but the next day it succeeded and that is all that matters.

AS to 'startallback' i might look into it. The context menu list from Windows 10 i had already customized and fit well are reachable from Windows 11 last menu item so that's okay here.

to be honest is the best way to faith something, either to yourself or others. yes, i failed first time on windows 10 and 11. and stepped forward: first install, imaging. fail? restore! aso. i dont write for fun, i experienced it myself.
"startallback" (paid, 3pc = 1 license) is one, "start11" (paid) another one, "Open Shell", "Start Menu X" also. try which fit your needs.

    i appreciate your experience!
