Oh rub it in why don't you Seriously, I suppose if a user latched onto Windows 10 when it was released and followed the pattern of subsequent upgrades/updates, they pretty well have a handle on what to expect and what not. As mentioned after bringing the Win 10 on this end up to current the panic set in again to encourage applying the third party apps to tone down all the background entry and exits. However i'm getting into the swing of things if it's any progress. Am slowly walking back (uninstalling) first one then another third party snuffer of sorts and am honestly trying to adapt to this thing despite it's feelers and notifications After 3 years and a diehard 8.1 devotee, it's likely a good thing they decided to keep updating/ungrading just 10 because by the time things were sorted out to expectations enough (as usual), they surely would have been nearing some pre-release Win 11 soon if they were going that far.
