No official word. All of the speculated dates have already passed. Maybe if I claim patch Tuesday November they'll drop it sooner just to make me wrong. :argh:

Tried this and it messed up my system. Endless checking for updates. Thank goodness for Macrium.

It's not being offered here on any systems that don't already have it. The ones that do are on the release preview ring.

I'm on normal update mode. Must be an error somewhere.

I'm also on normal update mode...no insider builds.
Only took a couple of minutes (is that right ??)
    Says I am now on win 10 20H2 19042.572

Other machine won't offer it (that's a Win 10 Home version, the one I got it offered on is a Pro version)

I'm not getting it offered, so I'm downloading the ISO, via both the Media Creation Tool and the download page.

It looks like both x64 variants no longer fit on a DVD now?

Will my update be much longer if I use this ISO (full install/upgrade?) instead of Windows Update?

It now has been offered to one employee. That is working from home. Maybe they don't like our ISP in the office. :doubt:

You can also use the in-place upgrade tool: https://download.microsoft.com/download/7/a/a/7aa0472b-49a0-46d1-b651-e8a2c53f1fe4/Windows10Upgrade9252.exe

Make sure to right click on the file(s) you just downloaded, go to Properties, then hit Unblock from the bottom right as it may be blocked since it was downloaded from the internet, if you don't do this before you run the file or extract it, then it may not install correctly.

To prevent this automatic blocking of files in the future so you don't have to go unblocking every file you download to ensure it runs properly, follow the guide in this thread:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/are-you-sure-you-want-to-run-this-file-yes-or-no.825668/

Used the KB4562830 x64 "Enablement Package" which enables the 20H2 functionality that's apparently already installed with the latest Cumulative Update. Took a few minutes only.

Windows 10 is list as "Version 20H2 (OS Build 19042.572)", so I guess I am to date now?

Got it installed nicely with the ISO above and don't forget to clean up your drive afterwards! @Tarnak

I don't have previous windows installations listed as files to delete. Maybe i will after installing 20H2 in a couple of weeks.

It was very fast on my machine too, I think it is more of an update than a real upgrade...

Only if you will install it using ISO. If you will install it through Windows Update it will take you about 5 minutes to do it and you will only have few 100 MB of data to remove listed under "Windows Update clean-up" option.

Same here, although stupidly did not have a backup image. It updated fine on my oldest computer (a 2015 Gigabyte P37x) but well and truly borked my less than 2mth old HP Spectre x360 13t (late 2019 version). Uninstalling and reverting to 1909 did not fix Windows Update. DSIM Restore Health also borked (missing source files). I am now reinstalling Windows via a reset. Thanks MS.

After upgrading from 20H1 to 20H2, noticed that System Restore was disabled. Enabled again manually.
