I DID follow the process by downloading the correct ESD file, converting the ESD to ISO, burning a DVD, and installing W10 1802 build 17.133. Running on it now as I type this reply. No problems encountered with any OEM software so far. Performance seems good.

As GHacks discovered, Windows 10 Spring Creators Update comes with a new section in Settings > System > Storage that allows users to perform the typical cleaning maintenance process without having to launch the Disk Cleanup tool.

While options to clean up the disk were already there, it looks like Microsoft has included more settings to let users decide what exactly to remove. They can choose between Windows upgrade log files, system-created Windows Error Reporting files, Windows Defender non-critical files, thumbnails, temporary files, and items in the Recycle Bin.
Settings app improvements
Microsoft is trying to make Windows 10 more intuitive and straightforward, and the Settings app has received plenty of improvements in this regard.

One of the company’s priorities is to migrate all configuration options from the classic Control Panel to the Settings app, and this is happening as we speak, though some items are yet to make the switch. Sooner or later, however, the Control Panel will be retired, and all configuration options will be available in the Settings app.

Windows 10 Redstone 5 build 17639, which is available at this point for members of the Windows Insider program enrolled in the Skip Ahead ring, is the one bringing this bugfix [...]
Specifically, if you want to replicate the bug, launch the Calculator app and try to calculate the square root of 4 and then subtract 2. While the answer should be 0, the Windows Calculator sometimes gives the wrong answer due to what Microsoft claims to be arbitrary precision arithmetic library.

What’s important to know is that the bug doesn’t seem to exist on all systems for one reason or another, though we’ve managed to reproduce the bug on 3 in 4 computers.

Also exists in Windows 7 and 8.1
Microsoft’s Raymond Chen published an in-depth analysis of the error in 2016 on the Microsoft Developer page, explaining why exactly the Calculator app returns a different result.
The bug has been around for many years, and one report was posted on Microsoft’s Community forums in 2010 when the current version of Windows was Windows 7 [...]

Yeah I know. That's why I said that it was calculated so "precisely". I would say that result is 0, but calculator has calculated that it's only almost zero

I've got 17133.1 on 5 machines now. No issues so far. I don't know that I should say out loud that it seems faster than the Fall Update was... but it seems that way.

17133.1 has been running great here as well since it first came out and I would also say generally faster.

The only time that I notice any kind of performance decrease is when enabling the Core Isolation Memory Integrity feature. But that is understandable because at that point, you are running the OS as a virtual machine and all Code Integrity checks take place in the hypervisor and therefore protecting kernel space to the best that Windows has done to date. So for ultimate protection, that performance decrease can be worthwhile for some users. Virtualization Based Security (VBS) is definitely the future.

While this is more of a deal-breaker for some, there are users who’re ready for a trade-off given the advantages of a Windows 10 ARM PC, which include stunning battery life that could even reach one week per charge.
Faster performance, increased battery life
Developers will be allowed to recompile apps to run in 64-bit on ARM-based PCs, Engadget says citing general manage for Windows Erin Chappie, and this should lead to improved performance and even better battery life.

While 64-bit app support isn’t yet on the radar, the good thing is that the majority of legacy programs already come with a 32-bit sibling, though there are cases when such a version isn’t available. This is where Windows 10 ARM shows its limits, and Microsoft could try to address this with future updates, though for the time being it’s not known how and when this could happen.

More devices running Windows 10 on ARM should see daylight in the coming months, and Microsoft is also working with partners on bringing to the market models powered by the new Snapdragon 845. This is projected to happen in late 2018 [...]

In particular, the policy "Do not allow web search" has no effect when enabled on the device. The initial version of Windows 10 combined local search functionality with web search functionality when it came out.
[...] Even if you have configured all three anti-web search policies, web searching remains enabled on the device.

You find all policies under Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Search.
Closing Words
While Microsoft might publish an update for Windows 10 version 1803 on day one to fix the issue, I don't think it is very likely that this is going to happen. Web search functionality has privacy implications as search terms need to be sent to Microsoft so that the company can return search suggestions.

I have noticed the same thing with 17133.1 and I'm running in on 8 physical machines ranging in power from Celerons to I7s and Ryzen processors; all machines have at least 8 gigs of RAM so I can't speak for 4GB systems. Absolutely no problems with drivers or OEM software either.

Even though Windows already has quite a few ways to create screenshots, Windows sleuths discovered a new feature called "Screen Clip" being developed in Windows 10 Redstone 5. Screen Clip allows a Windows 10 user to drag a selection of the screen and create a screenshot from it.

This feature will come in the form of a Quick Action called "Screen Clip" that when activated will display a screen overlay with 3 choices. These choices are a rectangular selection, a lasso selection, and a full screen selection. Using these selection choices, you can select part of the screen and generate a screenshot from it. The full screen selection will just take a screenshot of the entire screen.
