4GB of RAM is still more than enough if you not running a lot of programs at once, or don't have a lot of browser tabs open.

If you have a 4 core or more CPU, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations deliver server-side features to the Windows desktop, very likely with a price to match. This is their high end version of Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise for business PCs.

    Re: W10 Pro for Workstations:

So who gets to make use of this in industry and business (on a Pro license)?

MS touts it as 'enhanced performance and reliability' of the hardware. It is for power users, got that.
    • W10 Workstation mode: Microsoft plans to optimize the OS by identifying “typical compute and graphics intensive workloads” to provide peak performance and reliability when Workstation mode is enabled.
I see the next iteration of the Surface Studio as a hardware beast!!!

Yup. The funny thing is there were supposed to be four Windows 10 flavors: Home, Pro, Enterprise and Enterprise LTSB, er LTSC.

Now its ballooned out of control! Go figure.
