I've seen recently this malware added again, but it's not a new variant!
    I know it's an old virus...from 2002
    Why was it added again?

Is this a so difficult question? I was just curios about it, that's all. :(

Maybe a new minor variant or modification.

Get an update and try again. I'm sure the result will look different :)

    Re: win32.parite.b virus

I doubt Parite wouldn't be picked up by NOD32. I saw a couple of samples where it was within a special crafted archive so NOD32 detected it after extraction...

You have to update from NOD32, and it will download all you need.

Well, you should try a dial-up connection. Can't you set up one? NOD32 basically can function quite well without updates thanks to its heuristic engine, but defs are also very important. ;)
