win10 corrupt icons

    windows 10 started showing corrupt or blank white icons where they were previously ok, even adding to desktop or start menu from their installed items is the same. i have tried deleting the icon cache, having a larger icon cache, rebooting etc but nothing i have tried sofar seems to work

    Have you tried running a DISM ?

    Right-click on Start and choose Command Prompt as Admin.

    Then copy and paste this into the command box...

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Let it run, perhaps reboot when it's finished and see if it's fixed your issue.
