Who needs anything more than the basic necessities for life? I don't see why people can't look beyond their prejudices to something called the positives.
Basically for the reasons above ^ Smart phones are the furthest I'm comfortable with, and I still wish they'd have more physical means of covering the mic/camera as a standard. The whole Google Glass and Oculus Rift thing, beyond just being "neat" toys or something to screw around with- I just don't like the idea of wearing something on your head for a decent amount of time. We're already connected enough as it is, it's embarrassing.
