LOL, this was a good one. For now I think it's mostly hype, but if it gets any better it will eventually play a bigger role in multiple industries. Now that I think of it, let's hope they won't start to use AI on Wall Street, because this would make things even harder to predict for amateur stock traders, like me.

I dunno, is the preview of Edge and ChatGPT together exclusively? I mean, obviously you can make Bing default in Firefox but I'm not quite enthused to take that next step. Actually, I want to run in the opposite direction. :cautious:

Luckily, this isn't baked into anything yet.

Until later in the decade, potentially as near as 2026. Then there will be not much more content produced to feed them

lol! If it had hands, it would have been wringing them, I bet.

If you want a real pal to do more than search with, your prayers have been answered.

I guess this is heading toward the real Cortana Microsoft always wanted. :cautious:

I saw this when watching CNN Money on cable TV. I thought it was a bit shocking that ChatGPT is calling people rude and is making up lies LOL.

Then it is even more human that I thought. People will realize the error of creating such things. Someday after it is too late.

I found video about fundamental things in AI like that prevent it to become reliably useful without human oversight or helping scientific discoveries, not to mention making road to real AGI or becoming self aware.

Of course it acts like a human, it was trained using human data. It doesn't do this because it has independent thoughts, it does it because this is how WE behave.

"AI-created images lose U.S. copyrights in test for new technology

Images in a graphic novel that were created using the artificial-intelligence system Midjourney should not have been granted copyright protection, the U.S. Copyright Office said in a letter seen by Reuters...

The decision is one of the first by a U.S. court or agency on the scope of copyright protection for works created with AI, and comes amid the meteoric rise of generative AI software like Midjourney, Dall-E and ChatGPT.

The Copyright Office said in its letter that it would reissue its registration for "Zarya of the Dawn" to omit images that 'are not the product of human authorship' and therefore cannot be copyrighted..."

This is what I was concerned about as my bank keeps trying to ask if it can use my voice as sign in.
After reading this below I am glad I keep saying no you cannot.

I just tried Perplexity AI. I don't know how I ended with this, as per my screenshot.

P.S. My initial start was by asking: "What is the difference between your AI and ChatGPT?"
