i have bought a yubikey with NFC builtin, i can enable it for google on my computer and phone by either using their NFC functionality or by plugging it into it, but on other devices that dont have builtin NFC or any USB ports how can i stilll use other apps associated with google such as youtube etc will this mean i will lose youtube and possibly be locked out of my other apps like email or apps bought on playstore

One suggestion is that you can also enable TOTP as a backup authentication method. Try and use U2F (Yubi's) when possible but you can resort to TOTP as needed. The TOTP credential can be received on a separate device if you want. In fact that would be preferable security wise. Just my thoughts.
