Wildcard in HOSTS file?

    I doubt the answer is "Yes" but I will ask anyway....

    Q: Will HOSTS file process wildcards such as *.demdex.net?

    I'm going with no. Examples like:
    google.com
    and
    www.google.com
    have to be separate entries.
