    It's funny and sad that the Internet is actually getting smaller.

    People use a handful of apps on their phones, and this is their entire universe. Silos and bubbles.
    Search engines are not as open as they used to be, and finding information is more difficult than it used to be.
    (Developed) countries are seeking to limit exposure and access to the Web in the name of all sorts of "noble" causes (think of XYZ nonsense).

    I'm glad I was there in the early days, before Idiocracy.
