Wie kopiert man XP mit dem OS Selector?

    Hallo

    Entschuldigung, das ich in Deutsch schreibe, aber mein Englisch ist nicht so gut. Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand helfen! Ich möchte mit dem OS Selektor das Betriebssystem kopieren, werde aber aus dem Handbuch nicht Schlau. Wie ist die genaue Schritt für Schritt Vorgehensweise, wenn 2 Festplatten eingebaut sind? Ich möchte XP kopieren um das 2. System zum Testen von Software zu nutzen! Wäre klasse, wenn mir jemand helfen kann!

    Unless your English is bad to the point it absolutely can't be understood, it would be helpful for you to post in English.

    If you just want a copy of your current XP installation from the first drive to the second drive, don't use the Copy OS feature of OSS. That will just cause problems.

    The procedure depends on how you want the dual-boot system setup. You can use DD to copy the XP partition from the first drive to the second drive (note that you must copy to unallocated space). However, that will not make the second drive bootable as the MBR code won't be changed.

    Are you wanting to setup OSS as the boot manager or are you wanting to just switch between the drives by selecting which drive boots (changing the boot order in the BIOS or using a BIOS boot menu)?
