 o_O If it has web feet, a bill, feathers, waddles and quacks, it most likley is a duck. If a product looks like it was developed when the first computer came out, takes an hour to downlaod new VDF's and requires a PHD in computers to figure out how to configure it, it most likley is a hunk of CRAP! That is not seeking evidence in support of a position, it is stating a fact.

    Thanks

Not true!! I have changed my thinking when the evidence suggests I should. I no longer use Norton products. lol....lol.... :D See I told you.

Norton employees and engineers...ready ....aim ....fire.... lol.... :D

Just a little humor. After my above post I thought I should get off my soap box and lighten up. :D

Yes. But, you see, all I notice is that your duck is missing one of those webbed feet and swims in circles. While I think my duck is just perfect, since its broken bill, which you so cruelly pointed out, doesn't really affect its ability to swim or fly. Both of us having forgotten that both ducks are going to taste just great. ;)

I'm just curious. Did anyone read the entire six pages (50 per page) of posts in that thread? :) It took me most of last night to get to page 5 and I was bleary eyed by then. Had to finish reading today. Very interesting thread with some well thought out, solid comments. This was not a "crazies" thread at all.

Whiles you and I were debating the merits or lack thereof on our respective ducks, some one came along and stole our ducks. They left scraps and had the audacity to try and convince us that we had just par taken in a gourmet meal.

    Thanks

:) ;) Stone the crows, I would have settled for a spot of tea, a biscut and some vegamite.

    Thanks

I didn't want to be the last post in this thread!

I have given up on ducks, and now have a goose, ooops I shouldn't have told that, as I am sure there are thoese who would like to cook my goose.

    Thanks

Julia Child has just emailed from the grave: She says we have gone just a pinch off topic. She suggests this be moved to our new forum: Safe Cooking in the Wild :doubt: ;) (She also says the groans from forum members are disturbing her peace, and begs us to drop the duck metaphor.)

:'( O.K. while we did speak in metaphors, we were also on topic. There are thoes who would try and make their products sound better than it is, and thoes who become angry if you do not agree with them.

All said and done, it all boils down to what works for the individual and his/hers system. I just don't want individulas to follow blindly.

    Wildman (Thanks)
