Power of Processor and speed of Hard Drive will be vastly different between each.

It can also be the amount of Data being imaged. Your notebook Hard Drive might be a 4500 instead of a 5400, there can be many factors between times taken to image, in order to compare you would need more information than what has been given...

    Cheers :D

    Hello NewBer,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Could you please let us know whether your friend has the same notebook? Also please note that time needed for restore depends on the used space, the performance of the system and drivers loaded. Since Acronis Bootable CD is Linux based the drivers may not be optimized for your particular model of notebook. I am sure we will be able to improve this situation in future when our Development Team implements drivers that work better for your system.

    Thank you.
