Why so many profiles?

In my NOD32 Configuration Editor I create a package that gets deployed to my 250 XP clients machines.

The package contains the following 6 profiles:
My Profile
Context menu Profile
Control Center Profile - Local
Control Center Profile - In-Depth analysis
Control Center Profile
Control Center Profile - Diskettes

My most pressing question is when I create a scheduled daily scan under General -> Scheduler -> Scheduler/Planner, which profile does this scan use? During creation, it does not really give you the option of choosing a profile.

My second question is why are there so many profiles and when do they get used?
