Why has there been no updates since v1.1347 (30th dec 2005)?? There is this big danger of the WMF exploit! Anyway, im uncomfortable with my antivirus not updating since the past 3 days!

Which ones? NOD32 uses a generic detection for the exploit and so far all new threats exploiting the vulnerability have been detected.

So now they are detected by name, but as Marcos said, they were already detected generically :)

What makes you say that NOD32 is not detecting them? o_O

I believe Kalpik is referring to post #34 by Jaska in this thread , but they are now detected with the latest update according to the poster. Whether they were previously detected before today Marcos or Happy Bytes can answer. Personally I had enough faith in the heuristic detection abilities of NOD not too worry for a couple of days. Now if I had an AV that lived and died by houtly updates that would be a different story. :D https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=113132&page=2 After visiting the link provided by Jaska the three variants were detected by AMON. http://multitudious.com/test.html
