Isn't the AV-C Performance Test to determine how "heavy" an AV is?

Take a look. I don't think I can link it.

Its like bitdefender has a twin. A Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. When i was trialling it 50% said as you said. Good stuff. But the rest of us swear it was like carrying a bag of cement on your back. And we were all talking about the same AV. This would be about 12 months ago. June-July 2011.

If thats your top 3, you clearly have never tried any cloud products or even AVG. I can tell you that for sure. ;)

Maybe it sounds crazy, but KIS 2013 feels lighter on my laptop than Panda Cloud or Avast free or of course,Bitdefender.

I did try KIS 2013 and while it is slightly lighter than 2012 it is no where near the performance I would personally want on my computer.

Try launching a huge setup file for example Nero 11 (383 MB) and watch your system crawl to death.

I am talking about a top of the line system here (specs in sig)

Kaspersky and McAfee are the heaviest 2 AVs hands down. At least Kaspersky is good though :)
