I have been using ESET proudct for over 3 years and I'm giving up on them. There is nothing wrong with the product but the support on it is so bad, that is reason.

I was trying to get the 64 bit version after migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7 and am unable to log in and download it with my current userid password. I even tried to get a trial version and the supplied password wont log in to download either.

I sent in a trouble ticket and it was clear by the email responses that they were auto generated. After 3 such emails, I called up and was on hold for over 1 hour the first time I called and tried one more time and after 45 minutes, left my number and havent recived a call back or another email.

    Ex Fanboy of Eset products.

    Hello martytx,

The typical reason the download does not work is because the username and password are entered incorrectly. Also, if you renewed the software, you may have a different username and password. If that is the case, you should check what username you are using and make sure the most recent email from ESET matches.

Another common mistake is using "eav-" instead of "EAV-" for the username. The username is all caps and the password is all lowercase.

Hi Wayne I am a user as well & cut & pasted the user name & password directly from the ESET e-mail 3 times & it said user name wrong , it took on the 4th try. I sincerley wish you would have someone check the website IMHO there is some issue going on...

I tried typing both the userid and password into the download box under Windows 7/IE* and it works. I verfied by pasting into a notepad document that the copy text was correct. I believe the problem is with IE8 and Windows 7 not with ESET server.
