Why does NOD32 take forever to scan exe files?

    When downloading exe files, NOD freezes and locks up the application that is being used to download items. Or when I move them from one location to another.

    Any other file downloads without a hitch, and the product itself is terrific. This is basically my only complaint.

    Can anyone help with this or I am pretty much going to try and live with it?

    What settings have you got on in NOD32?

    Just the defaults on install.

    I haven't changed anything.
