Why cant Paragon backup Ext4 Ubuntu?

    I am using Paragon COMPACT Edition and even it detects the ext4 Ubuntu Linux partition, but once the backing starts, Paragon crashes.

    Why and is there a solution?

    My 11 Compact backs up my ext4 Ubuntu partition just fine.

    Supplying more info on the 'crash' would help.

    My Compact just crashes when it begins to backup the ext4 partition, no error message, just crashes and stops responding.
