Hi all Could someone else try this for me using the trial version of PE? In Utilities leave the field blank and see if you get same results as I did. @ Your Service (YOURSE) Academisch Ziekenhuis Leiden (AZL) Allware (ALLWAR) Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Fisicas (CBDPF) Dan Johnson (DANJOH) Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. That's right, you see the blocks from the search engines installed, with arin as main engine on internet. I don't have an eval to test, only a nice fully registered version most recent build. In my former eval (for test purposes) those utilities were blocked.
Hi my sweet lady Jooske I downloaded the newest trial build on the page just before trying a few things. I sure hope I X'ed out my IP address Nice to see you again and I am happy you are working with PE. Later
So are we all, seeing you beta testing and finding even more questions for Jason to look into, to make it even more advanced then it already is! Imagine if you have a full version with all functions available, you've even more possibilities to find and looking deeper into. Jason was already adding and changing more, so never know........
Hi controler, some whois servers return different information when you send a blank line (it's not really blank though it does contain two bytes, a carriage return and linefeed ) . I thought I should leave blank line sending in for whois since some people might use it. -Jason-
I understand and thank you for commenting Jason Is there other features we should know about ? like for instance, using other unique characters can give other feedback? I am thinking there some search bots out there that don't notice unique characters added to before and after data. same with some keyloggers. I have found that someone has a combination of unique characters infront of and behind data for instance in an e-mail some keyloggers won't be able to retrive the e-mail info
There is a series of "flags" that you can specify with whois, depending on the server ,etc etc. You don't want to specify any flags in the automatic search in Port Explorer though, as that already adds flags as need be to complete your search. But if you manually select a server and play around with it you may be able to find some weird flags, I know I did a few times -Jason-
