    I think they only mean links to websites that require a plugin to operate (YouTube - Flash, Pogo.com - Java, xbox.com - Silverlight, etc.)

    Basically, don't post anything that tends to come with baggage (Vulnerabilities) - AKA a website that requires something, such as a plugin

    Those are usually the ones that moderators tend to unlink/don't like posted here.

    If it's a website like www.softpedia.com, then no, because it doesn't require a plugin to function.

    and...

    As far as I can see, your link wouldn't require a moderator to step in.
