what features will i loose compared to ultra version when i only ever install the burning rom during installation and nothing else anyway?? will i be able to burn video dvd's (not encode them but simply burn them as a dvd video disc) and what about hd and dual layer support or is nero ultra needed for that?? i basically am interested in getting the burning rom and only using it to burn. i kinda miss their burning engine and want to try the newest version but i only want that part of the whole package. also which one would allow me to convert cd audio into mp3 and visa versa?? thanks

All the un-neccesary features, lite is far better, Nero of yesteryears.

    yes

no. you can burn even BlueRay with micro and lite

for "vice versa" micro and lite are sufficient. From audio -> mp3 you'll need ultra

    cheers
