    What are those. OK:

    VirtualSandbox- dead practically
EQS Sandbox- still in beta and part of EQS

    . . . . . . .

Sandboxie all the way for me. One of the posts above refered to sandboxing the firewall. Why would you want to do that?

    Ditto

SandboxIE is been a nice work of windows computer innovation, and it's developer, just like some others here, is always at the ready to pull the trigger to either improve it more or iron out the complaints.

Also undoing protection. You probably are going to have to allow sandboxie to unblock services and driver install. Not very wise.

    SANDBOXie

And why not? A fantastic creation and innovation that brilliantly compliments other security programs or it can stand on it's own. Not to mention it's developer is always in fast-forward mode (thinking, implimenting, etc.) :thumb:

    QUITE IMPRESSIVE!

Yes though the main difference with sandboxie is it's like a bubble around a selected application, Returnil etc are more of a bubble bath :D

Though they are somewhat similiar.. they both are intended for different situations :) Another program you might like to try (currently in beta, soon to be released) is Comodo Diskshield. You also have the option to save sesions, resume them so that you can install software that needs a reboot!

Just recently started using Sandboxie. Fits my needs and seems to be a very good program.

This reminds me that i need to start using Bufferzone Pro again, afterall i did pick up a license for a measily ten bucks or so, did have a few problems such as not been able to properly sandbox K-Meleon without losing anything but havent tried the latest version - will do soon. btw their support ticket system is fast and also work weekends wich is a big plus.

    Another vote for Sandboxie here.

To paraphrase Bruce Lee: Instead of focusing on the complexity of form, it simply offers unfettered effectiveness.

There is only one sandbox. Namely, SBIE. Ergo, I use SBIE.
