If you define what you mean by "best" and why "most complex" I could take a stab at the question.

BUT in the meantime I would say one of the top 5 or 6 products that AV Comparatives tests would be my choice.

Being free is not a saving if the product misses the one parasite not in it's "free" signature DB.

None catch 100% of the parasites in the wild.

I use ESET Nod32 4.2.71.2 which frequently updates and I have it set to maximum RT file protection.

From time to time I run SuperAntispyware Pro.

The other key in the layered defence and more important is a 2way FW.

The goal is preventing spy ware from getting in in the first place.

This is what I do. IMO cleaning an infected computer is not worth when you may miss something and still be infected.

It may be worth it if you got hit by just one or two malwares.

It means he uses the FOLLOWING programs stated below in his post. FF is shorthand for "following". :D

Where did the op go? This is their thread? :'(

FF may have no script as an ad on which certainly does help users avoid loading malware so that is good.:thumb:

BUT FF is NOT a scanning tool as most all here already know.:D

Why 2 f's if it was following?

Actually, I think he meant following free.

I am sure that was not meant... http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/FF

P.S. I think it comes down to lower and upper case choice to convey meaning. ;)
