Well i've found Spycop to be quite good. Or the combo of Security Task Manager along with Unhackme or RootkitRevealer (or both) does very well.

But I suppose it really depends if you want to scan for them after the fact or to block them. Use the former recommendations (Spycop, STM, Unhackme etc..)to find them after you feel you've already been infected.

To block them from infecting you use AntiHook or ProcessGuard. Some other HIPS type programs will work good too at blocking them.

I use both sets of countermeasures. I use programs to block their install and programs to scan for them on my system. I find both to be very helpful.
