I don't know why people are so hung up on memory usage - it's there to be used afterall. I'm glad they've focused instead on more important aspects such as the aforementioned I/O efficiency improvements. Even my netbook has 2gb memory and a low commit charge; on my main PC, I load the kernel in memory just to feel like I use some of the RAM available. Interesting poll - so many people have their computers cleaned by malwarebytes as the first step, good that people feel the same way as I do about giving some back.
LOL. I don't think that's the only way it works, else-wise it would've never been so successful in cleaning computers.
I ran the free version of MBAM for a couple of years, but have since purchased the pro version for our machines, in part, to support the continuing efforts of the developers.
