I did use Deep Burner for quite a while and it's a good program. When I burn music cds I use jet audio's burner and that works well for me too.
FWIW- Ashampoo Burning Studio 2010 Advanced is offered free this Friday. http://www.downloadjunkie.co.uk/2010/05/exclusively-fre.html
Windows Built-in Image Burner has given me NO problems at all. If I want to Edit Images (.iso etc.), I use UltraISO. For Burning non-Images, I have used ImgBurn, Ashampoo Burning Studio, and CDBurnerXP.
UsefulUtils Discs Studio - portable version = 500kb http://www.instantfundas.com/2009/07/usefulutils-discs-studio-another-good.html
I use Nero 6 Full came with my Lite-On DVD Burner for free, works great. I tried the latest version and it was awful, continued to go as slow as a turtle, would lock and freeze and destroy my discs. So I simply re-install Nero 6 from the included disc. I use Ashampoo Burning Studio on my other system, they are always giving away free promotional keys and they allow upgrading to latest version. Unlike Nero, Ashampoo was never destroyed any of my discs. Ashampoo Burning Studio has become the leader in commercial burning software. Of coarse many of the free products are also very good. Thanks.
the one thing ashampoo for whatever reason and i just cant figure out myself STILL has not included track names and disc titles for audio discs (not mp3).almost any other program that burns audio from mp3 or other can do track names... other than that i agree its a fantastic program.
Cyberlink Power2Go came with my machine and it works perfect for every job I throw at it! I didn't see it in the poll though so I didn't vote
ImageBurn 95% of the times I need to burn CDs/DVDs. Have been a long time user of Nero but got bored using it..got too bloated also. Have Ashampoo 2010 but have not installed it yet. BTW, can Ashampoo help you make a VCD/DVD slideshow?
Don't laugh-- I use Roxio EZ CD/DVD Recorder Version 6. I have many others but prefer this for it's simplicity. I said DON'T LAUGH
