Nice to have you back here Skym......Lowestoft eh?....All my Rellies on my Dad's side go back to the 1600s in Lowestoft......'Beach' people.... Cochise,
Hi Cochise, I'm from Yorkshire originally, moved down here in 1988. Taken a LONG time to get 'used' to it's ways. But now, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else in a hurry. Great place when you delve into it's history. The Beach people you mention were wiped out during and after the 1953 storms that devastated the east coast. The area is a campsite these days and even that is under threat from developers. Hey ho, progress eh? In addition to this reply, I got a message from 'Cartoon Boy' ? Unfortunately I had a pop up blocker turned on (which I'd forgot about) so I'll go on a hunt for the message...however, if Cartoon Boy is reading this...could you point it out to me please? I'm new and still 'feeling' my way around. Regards all. Pete
Hello all. It took me a while to figure out what "member introductions" was, apparently. My name is Clément, and I live in London, England UK. I am not however originally from London. My mother is English and my father is Mauritian (I guess that explains why I live in England ). I did live in Malaga, Spain for about 6 years on and off, and it was a real eye-opener. Living in another country is well-worth it's price, as it allows you to grow imparcial to foreign ways of thinking and open yourself up to new cultures. I was born in Sunderland, England in 1983, and I studied in the neighbouring city Newcastle until I was 18 (I was at this time already living in Malaga now and again when school would permit). I then moved to London, where I started what has turned out to be a 4 year course in Computer Networks (BSc Hons). I am now in my 4th year, and I have grown as a person a lot, from being a part of community forums like these - seeing how other people think and feel - and recognising that in order to make a difference you have to start with yourself. I thank all other people that know what I mean, and thankyou for giving your input and help into the online community. I have studied advanced network engineering, communications technology, wireless networks and digital media with reference to common software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Director and Steinberg Cubasis. I touched business studies but did not gain anything substantial enough to become a qualified entrepeneur. I am a keen photographer and I find using graphical editing programs very interesting. Thanks for listening, `MishimaSan` aka Clément Lol. Something you find interesting, like motorcycles?

Good Morning Mishimansan and BeetleBoss, greetings to fellow newbie Alan, too. Thanks for the welcome BB and, thank you for your idea for my website M'san. All ideas very welcome. I had considered a m/bike site and, may go down that route. However I have a friend who makes Japanese swords and may talk to him about doing a joint venture. You sound a very interesting guy M'san! Computer Networking! The next big thing? Or, just the natural progression of the way PCs will develope. A big world all joined up - ah! I have a background in mechanical engineering, but wish modern PC technology had been as advanced as it is today, 40 yrs ago. That would definitley have been the path I would have chosen. Glad to be on this forum and look forward to lots of postings. Kind regards all, Pete
Wow, your friend makes Japanese swords? I'm really into Japanese martial arts, and I love using Katanas. I'm very tempted to buy the Paul Chen practical pro katana, but I'd have to find something practical to use it on. Haven't thought of anything yet, apart from legs of meat . http://www.kultofathena.com/product~item~PC2162~name~Paul+Chen+Practical+Pro+Katana.htm
