I bought Acronis®*True*Image*Home® Trial version 10.0 (build*4,942) from the Acronis online store.

They gave me a serial number. I installed the "trial" version (15 days).

Where do I enter the serial number to make the trial version become complete? Or, is the trial version crippled and do I have to reinstall the program again from the download link provided with the serial number? It seems that both programs are about identical (105 MB large)

You must first uninstall the trial version.

Follow MTX's instructions and uninstall the Trial version of TI 10. Although the Trial is about the same size as the full program, it cannot be upgraded to the full version. You must uninstall it.

Download the full (non-trial) version from the link provided by Acronis, and save the file. You might want to burn this to a CD for safe keeping.

When you run the downloaded file, it will ask for the serial number during the installation.

If you copy the serial number from your email, you can paste it in which saves typing and avoids errors.

I don't think mouse-click pasting will work, so you'll have to use keyboard CTRL+V to paste the number into ATI.
