Never. Team Linux!
Today I removed W10/Pro from our test system and it is back on W7/64. The digital entitlement is now tied to this system but as it is 2009 vintage, I expect it will never see W10 again. It was worth doing the upgrade and getting familiar with W10 but it did not provide better performance or a 'delightful experience'. One family member is staying with W10 - he had W8 on a laptop and says he really likes W10. For myself I would prefer to wait to see how the new silicon benefits non-Enterprise W10 users. I'll give it 2 years or so. A new PC with W10 pre-installed would be more likely for me but my decision to stay with MS will be influenced by how MS treats W7 users over that same period of time.
I think that Microsoft is up to no good with respect to the WIN10 take over. I think that with WIN10 as the only system available, they will eventually make it subscription based, charging us an annual fee or something similar. I heard that the enterprise addition is already screwing around with that. Not sure though. I have WIN10 on my pc, and am awaiting the upgrade. Any how, my computer has developed a mother board problem that I won't bore you with, and I decided to eliminate the WIN10 saga by replacing it with an iMAC which I did a week ago. So far I like it.
They probably will after all the beta testers for Win 10 find all the bugs and the bugs are fixed. Microsoft said Win 10 is free, did they say anything about free patches? Microsoft up to no good?...... Nooooo Never, I trust them, right. They never tried to pull a fast one on any Window Member. I'll sit back and watch the train wreck.
