Past experience has shown that a trial release follows the paid release by at least a month or longer.

 

and where is v3.0.657 trial version?
I think it is not fair that users who want to try EAV/ESS before they buy it
dont get the chance to test and try the latest version (and even there is not
trial version for the previous v3.0.657 version)]
and why there is no specific date fo trial version?

 

You can download 30 day trial of .657 from here, which has been available for about a week at least.

 

Version 3.0.667 mostly fixes certain network problems from v. 3.0.657. Those who want to evaluate ESS/EAV in a network environment can apply for an evaluation BE license so they would actually trial v. 3.0.667. If you are experiencing some problems, please provide me more details about them and I can create an evaluation license for you, too.

so I dont know about you but I didn't see any V3.0.657 trial versions.

That page does not contain any version info but from that page you are linking to, you should see....

You feel out the needed information at that click here link, an e-mail is sent and then you can download the .657 Trial version as shown in the above pic.

I installed that version and it's version 3.0.650 Trial version and not 3.0.657.

Why it's different for you I do not know but I just went thru the same process and followed the link it gave me in the e-mail. What is offered is the same as posted in my first post, 3.0.657

 

To put things right, currently only the older trial version 3.0.650 is available. 3.0.667 is scheduled for testing and, if no problems are found, it will be released. Currently we are in the process of testing/releasing commercial language versions 3.0.667.

Can I test the trial version before it get released?
I can find bugs and report problems..

 

Is there anyway of geting the 3.0.667 Trial of ESS. I need to test it on some computers to see If I can start moving clients that way as for the 650. It hangs the CPU's at 100% Need to try the new one. before I start using it again on more then 1 computer

The new version 3.0.667 only fixes certain server-related problems so if you have 3.0.650, it won't make any difference on clients. Anyway, the trial version 3.0.667 will be tested and released shortly.

If you observe the slowdown even when you're not copying/moving files, I'd suggest to make sure that advanced heuristics and runtime packers are not enabled in the real-time protection on access (default setting). By default, these options are enabled for newly created/modified files only because code emulation is a time consuming operation.

If that's not the case, I'd suggest using Process Monitor from Microsoft to monitor which files are being scanned by ekrn.exe. If it's a specific file, we'll need to get it for analysis.

I see that you are eager to getting the new evaluation version for testing. Are you going to install it on a server or you use it in LAN and have experienced some issues? If not, there's no difference between 3.0.650 and 667 for home users.

and I have some weird problems on 3.0.650 trial version.

The evaluation versions are Home Edition which does not install on server platforms. Please PM me your full name and email address so that I can generate a trial license for you. You will then be able to download and evaluate the commercial version 3.0.667.

it still said for me version 3.0.650 in this page:

so when v3.0.667/3.0.669 trial versions will be released?
why you make it so hard to get the new trial version? why it take so muct time to release new trial version? (now there is only the old 3.0.650 version for trial and for commerical there is version 3.0.669!!)
