:doubt: Lucky man! You must be newly weds, wait after 37 years, you will have him fully trained to use all the household appliances. The house will still be cleaned (he will have done most of the heavy work), dinner will still be on the table (he will have carried it there) and you will be telling him you don't need an apron and he can have the ones you have left.

    Thanks

 You all must be baking cookies, cakes and goodies for the holidays. Either that or everyone has stooped eating. Na! In other words where are you guys.

Another idea: What are some of the items you fix especially for the holidays?

The spouse make her own version of trail mix, using the various Check cereals, but she kicks it way up. I admit I look forward to it every season (goes real good with the one a day beer (bier)).

sugabella: I sure hope I didn't offend you. The spouse and I have been married going on 38 years now, and she does have me trained. Secret: I don't mind.

    Thanks

Last night we handed in our finals in my Current Legal Issues class, then 8-10 of us graduate students (I'm one of the younger ones) headed to Joe's Crab Shack in San Marcos with the professor and had dinner and a few drinks while having some great conversation. I had Crawfish etouffee and a couple big Shiner Hefeweizens - yum on all counts there :D

Cheese looks a little green, dull, and blahhh - nadirah
Oh yea!!!! Joe's Crab Shack!!!! Shrimp'n pasta -- yum, yum, yum!!! :D :D

Since we've started chatting about cooking-and incase anybody cares.
My new favorite thing to cook that's fast and easy for the kids, are omelets.
I put hashbrown, sausage, and cheese in them. Then, the kiddos (and myself) get very impressed when I can flip the egg over the top. Then of course, melted cheese on top. Can never have tooooo much cheese!!!! ;)
(Remember, it takes little to impress myself sometimes.) :D :D

:D You now make it necessary for me to go to a certain Church again. There is a Church not to far from us, where the Mexican American ladies sell home made tamales (Baja style). The wildman will take tamales anyway they come. Damn done made myself hungry yet again.

    Thanks

;) Has everyone stooped eating? Everyone must be getting in their practice for the holiday meal. Looks like the spouse will be doing the turkey thing. The daughter had a very sad event, (father-in-law) passed away and of course no one expects her to fix the holiday meal. We will be having a very quiet and small Christmas this year.

    Thanks

We will have traditional turkey with cranberries and potatoes.
And probably an ice-cream log for desert.
Of course, wine and beer too! :D

wildman, we'll be having a quiet, at home Christmas, too.
Grandma just had double knee replacement a few weeks ago.
So, BJ and I will be trying our hand at cooking our own turkey this year.
    Should be fun!
Hope he remembers to take those "innerds" out,
cause I'm not going to touch'in that dead thing!!

Sure, makes the house smell good though, doesn't it?? :D :D :D

:D The wildman don't know much about the fermented grape juice. The beer thing however caught my attention. Will that by Molson, Moose Head or some other brand? In case I have not made it previously known, the wildman likes the beer (bier) and is always on the look out for new suggestions (None of that flavored stuff however, i.e. Cranberry beer etc.).

P.S. Uguel are you sure your old enough to be partaking of wine and beer?

    Thanks
    wildman
