What's the price of antiviruses (cost)

As stated many times before what works best for you might not be what works best for everyone else.

I am glad to see you are running well, you might want to add a trojan/malware scanner like A-Squared free or Ewido free(I do a custom install and leave off the bg guard) to complete the package.

 

Warning: KIS has sent me an "INVALID SERIAL NUMBER". I tried it three different ways. Many times. Same thing came up.
I will be calling them. They better make it right!! I will keep you posted.

 

I run trend micro on my desktop and norton (90 day trail) on my laptop, I like trend micro so far, no problems, runs light.

Norton starts up a little slow, does okay but kinda slows down my pc.

one nice solution ( even as a back up ) is Kav lite . Kaspersky , as some know, have done a deal with Cyberscrub who now market it . They adverstise kav lite for $49 for 5 yr license. That includes the CD. However when I purchased this, they gave a 20% discount and with out the CD it came to $35. Its being updated by KL .Those who played around with kav lite know that its a real good set and forget all round basic protection . The version they offer is 1.00 but there are to be updates to this .

 

Just to update kisinc has said they are sorry for selling invalid serial number and has promised a refund will be coming. They replied within reasonable time.

 

But then, will it be updated to have the forthcoming KAV 6.0 engine?

I bought today (boxed in the local shop) Bitdefender 8 Professional with Pestpatrol and 2 years updates for €44.99. This package is for 2 licenses (desk and lap).
