What's the matter with PGP?

    ok, he makes a decent case why PGP sucks, but not such a good case what to use as an alternative.

    Agree with the Hansen post, and in any case, the point about the email metadata is pretty much why SilentCircle withdrew from email. It stinks what's happening, there are some interesting alternatives slowly emerging, but there really isn't a solid open source widely used alternative.... but the demand is there. it's like the chicken and egg before email became popular (yes, I remember those days!).
