What year is NOD32 version 3.0?

    Is 3.0 version 2008 or 2009. An example is Norton is at 2009. Is NOD32 3.0 the equivalent to 2008 or 2009?

    If 3.0 is equivalent to 2008 then wow the 2008 is just as good as Norton's 2009 version which only means the NOD32 2009 version will kick butt!!

    Hello, v3 is v3 and v4 will be v4. You cannot compare products according to numbers. :)

    Hello,

    ESET does not use the date of the year in the name of its products. The latest version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus is v3.0.672.0.
