Under the listing of members online, the number of members, guests, and "robots" currently viewing are listed.

What/Who are the "robots?" RSS feeders? The Terminator?

I have always wondered this also. When I click on your link I get no results found.

You can also access that page, clicking on Members > Current Visitors > Robots tab.

Current visitors is empty and there is no Robots tab. Maybe moderators can get to more info than regular users?

Yes, there is no Robots tab :cautious:
Perhaps more rights are needed to see it:

I'll check with our Admin because it looked like Member hawki could see it, when I responded.

Not sure where you guys are looking, but I can see it at the top right corner.
Here is a screenshot while I was not logged on; using IE11 on Win7.
(and when logged on, something similar is there)

Jan, that's probably what Member hawki saw, however, I'm still seeking confirmation on the link I provided. Thanks!

That's the correct assessment. Only Mods and Admins can view the page link I provided; members will see a blank page. That blank page is to protect members' privacy, whether or not they have selected their own privacy settings.

The Members Online Now section, shown by FanJ's screenshot, is controlled by the Privacy settings in members' accounts. Those who wish to show their online status are seen there, those who do not want to show their online status won't be seen. The Total online count is just a general observation of Members, Guests, and Robots at any given time. Member hawki's question about Robots was based on seeing that Total count.
